And like that Noah is nearly 1!! Party prep is well under way and so much money has been spent on him its unbelievable but in the flurry of planning we had Noah's 1 year checkup. He now weighs 18lbs 12oz which is half a pound weight gain in 6 weeks. Which is small to normal babies but great for Noah! He is 72cm tall! which makes him about 2 foot 4 inches tall! Which is nearly up to my hips! He has shot up so fast, I've blinked and he's gone from a teeny newborn to a strapping, lively and cheeky toddler! His head circumference is 48cm but is in proportion to his body (: He is still not eating much and has actually gone down hill these past few weeks! He only nibbles on food and is struggling to even eat 1 meal a day let alone 3 meals like a baby his age should. Milestone wise he is so advanced. These past few weeks have made me want to crawl under a rock and stay there for eternity! Monday 16th May: The day started as any other day. But when I opened Noah's nappy and was met with pure white poo.. I knew it wouldn't be like any other day. As a worrier, I got on the phone to my health visitor who told me the children's ward in my local hospital were waiting for me and it could be serious. Something to do with his liver. My heart raced! First his bowel and now this? What more could we deal with. We spent all day up there and it dragged! We were then sent home to be told 'fingers crossed it doesn't get worse!'. What doctor in their right mind would say that to a vulnerable mother?!  That was it! I had enough. I posted everything on Facebook, fueled by anger and sadness.
