So Sunday 6th December, I developed a pain in my back and I put it down to muscle strain and general pregnancy issues. By Tuesday I was in agony and struggled to move, the pain had moved to my right side and up towards my rib cage. So I booked a emergency appointment with my doctor. She diagnosed a Kidney Infection and gave me anti-biotics and told me to rest. Funny right.. I have a toddler and a house to run and the lead up to Christmas.. When could I rest?! I had my 20 week scan on the Wednesday and the half hour travel to it was unbearable.
