Nearly 7 Months old.. Whaaat?!
My Tiny Newborn isn't so tiny anymore..
14th January 2016, Noah will officially turn 7 months old. This is how he's doing and a little life update.
*Noah has officially joined the Weaning Team and has 1 meal a day, soon to be 2! He usually has a small jar of baby food, We are liking Hipp Oraganic and Heniz at the moment and he tried Mango Chicken Curry and Lancashire Hotpot this week!- My baby is eating better than I am. He took to weaning amazingly and loves his food! Another firm fav is full on Sunday dinner.. For those that are not aware.. Its potatoes, Meat (usually chicken), Stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, veg and gravy. He munched through his Christmas dinner.
*Noah is balancing between size 3+ and 4 Nappies. We use Pampers Baby Dry nappies, which are usually on a 2 for £14 deal. Who doesn't love a deal. Wet Wipes he has Johnson's Sensitive Skin, which we buy in bulk 12 packs at £7/8. These haven't made his come out in a rash and uncomfortable, so we've stuck with these since birth.
*He has around 15-25oz of milk a day. Which isn't much for his age/weight. They say by rule of thumb, 2.5oz by pounds of weight so: Noah is 15lbs 11oz Last time being weighed.. So 2.5x15= 37.5oz! Wow when its worked out like that, it does sound a bit worrying. But as he is still gaining weight its not a biggie. At the moment we're still trying to see if his condition is making this problem or hes just not a hungry baby. Even if hes only gaining 3/5oz a month.
*He's in size 3-6 month clothes and should be heading to the next size within the month. Height wise he could fit 6-9 months with a bit of room, but his belly says 3-6 months.
*He has his 2 bottom teeth!!!! First one came at 5 months, second came 2 weeks later. He also has 2 more teeth coming on the bottom... So that makes 4 on the bottom 0 on the top. He'll get them eventually (:
*He can sit up but not for very long, he gets excited and proud of himself that he loses focus and falls to one side. But its coming along.
*He can roll both ways, even so i have to nearly pin him down to get him dressed or change his nappy.
*He sleeps most of the night from 10-9 with a few wake ups for his dummy or a quick feed but it's straight back of to sleep again. He will have about 3/4 hour naps a day. Which gives me time to eat/nap/housework/errands or bathe! Lucky me.
*He cant quite crawl yet but while he's on his belly, hes making the kicking motions but can't put 2 and 2 together but he's a little belly shuffler!
*He can say Ma and Da but cannot associate word with person. He'll just sit there and shout regardless of who's with him (:
*He can hold his own bottle and he tries to feed himself his spoon when eating jar food. But it mainly ends up on the floor, walls, me, him, everywhere.
*Bath Time
*Things that make loud noises or flashy things
*Food
*Mummy's necklaces
*Anyone's phone( He takes a mean selfie)
*His jumparoo
*The car
*Being outside
*Playing with Mummy and Daddy
*Being alone
*Sleeping in his own room
*Nappy being changed
*Sitting still
*Being in the car in traffic lights
*Smothered in kisses (but mummy like that)
*Being dressed (he likes being nakey)
