Time Flies..

It's Weird how fast children grow and learn..

I look at Noah in awe and amazement. He is 7 months old and only a few short months ago he was a tiny baby who depended on me for everything. Food, hygiene and entertainment. He was a little baby who would sleep 20 hours a day and when awake he would just sleep and fill his nappy. 

Now, he likes to hold his own bottle, take part in conversations, sit up and is trying to be mobile.

Where did my baby go?!

He has his own personality, sense of humor and different tastes. For example, he doesn't like pumpkin.. If you give it to him, he will make sure you know he doesn't like it. With a swift shot to the floor, or a very loud growl aimed at you. Because you accidentally forgot. With evil stares a nose up to the air. He knows what he likes and dislikes and as his momma, I should always remember! Even if I'm running on no sleep, with a list of errands taller than the Empire state building. Silly me.

Or I was out for lunch with him the other day.. He was sat proudly in the highchair with his Sweetcorn Puffs from Organix and his milk and a young couple happened to start playing with him, on the table next to us. He enjoyed this and babbled along to them for a good 5 minutes. They then returned to their own conversation with each other and Noah was not happy. He started shouting the whole place down! Staring at them and growling and then proceeded to throw his puffs at them. Which for a baby has a good shot! He gained their attention and looked at me with a massive cheesy grin and continued his conversation with Them. Don't get me started when they  left.. Lets just say, we left shortly, with all of the concerning glances. Bottom line.. My child loves being the center of attention.. ALWAYS. 

Humor, Comedians work hard at it for years, my child farts and starts laughing till he can't breathe. But not just basic farts. He now knows to time them. Preciously on nappy changes. More preciously when i'm having a good old peer into his little bottom to see if he was getting rash. So nose deep into his rear end and suddenly out of nowhere it came. The biggest, loudest, smelliest fart, he could of spent weeks brewing up- was now in my face. To which followed an evil witches cackle and smirks from my little adorable angel. Or now my little devil.

Or the times, when he wants to feed himself and it ends up EVERYWHERE. All of himself, myself, the house.. everywhere but his mouth. The other day he had Heinz Sweet and Sour Chicken Baby jar. Which has a nice distinctive Orange colour, and i spent a good 10 minutes trying to scrub it out of his eyebrows! and his poor apron bib has gone through the washing machine 4 times with a dose of Vanish Oxi Action spray. You would think these companies would realise babies are very messy and it gets everywhere! to try and get their products to be stain resistant? and be stain proof? If that's a thing?

But looking back over these last few months, It makes me realise that my baby is no longer a fully dependent human, but is slowly growing up. Which makes me want to cry! and his first birthday coming up in 5 months is his 1st birthday! 

Where has the time gone?! It just makes me think.. how fast the next 18 Years are going to go! When i won't get constant cuddles and kisses and he'll be asking to drive and get a job. Oh my! Lets just live in the present and enjoy my little human!
